How Marlow works

Marlow does the marketing work an agency would, then brings each piece to you in a chat to approve. Here's what happens from your first minute to your monthly report.

1. Your free strategy

Tell us about your business. In about a minute Marlow reads your website, checks how you show up on Google and Google Maps, finds who you're up against, works out what people search for and what a click costs where you work, and writes the plan it would follow, with the plan it recommends. You can read it, share it and come back to it. There's no obligation.

2. Set up in about five minutes

Check your details

Marlow drafts your services, prices, area and tone from your website. Everything it writes comes from here, so you check it once.

Your website

WordPress sites connect with the Marlow SEO plugin, so approved articles publish themselves. Other sites get each article ready to paste in.

Google

Connect Search Console and Analytics with one Google sign-in, and send Marlow a request to manage your Google Ads account.

Enquiry tracking

Marlow adds its tag through your Tag Manager or the plugin, sets Google Analytics up to count enquiries, and you send a test to prove it works.

Social

Connect your Facebook Page and Instagram, and ask for Google Business Profile posting.

How you hear from Marlow

Choose your daily brief time, and weekly or monthly reports.

3. Every day: Marlow works, you approve

Marlow brings its work to your chat as cards. Each one says what it is and what happens if you approve it: a reply to a new enquiry, a change to your ads, an article, a social post, a change to your opening hours. Tap to approve, edit it, ask for changes in your own words, or say no.

You can also just tell Marlow things. "We're closed on Friday." "Our MOT price is now £50." "How did last week go?" It answers with real numbers, or puts the change forward as a card for you to approve.

What Marlow does on its own, and what it never does

On its own

Researches searches and competitors, drafts replies, plans articles and posts, writes ad ideas, tracks where enquiries come from, watches your results, and prepares your brief and reports.

Never without your tap

Spending money, putting ads live, publishing to your website, posting to social media, replying to a customer, changing your booking rules or adding anything to your site.

4. Keeping you posted

A daily brief, Monday to Saturday at the time you choose: what needs you, yesterday's enquiries and where they came from, and today's bookings. Then a weekly or monthly report comparing the period with the one before, with a plain summary and up to three next steps. Both arrive by email and in your chat.

Checks built in

Facts, not guesses

Articles, posts and replies use only what's on your website and what you've told Marlow. It never invents quotes, reviews, prices or results, and it flags anything it isn't sure of.

Ads start switched off

New campaigns are built in your account switched off, so you can see everything before anything spends. Going live is a separate tap.

Careful with your website

Marlow won't overwrite a page title someone has changed since it suggested a fix, and it won't publish in Tag Manager while someone else has unpublished work there.

A record of every change

Marlow keeps a record of each change it makes to your website and your ads, with what was there before, so any of them can be reversed.
