What to expect
Marlow works like a small marketing team that reports to you. Here's the usual shape of it.
The first day
You get a welcome email and can sign in straight away. Marlow reads your website and drafts your business profile. Your job is to check it and connect your accounts (see Getting started).
The first week
Once Marlow knows your business it prepares a plan: the searches worth targeting, content ideas, and, if you're on a plan with ads, a proposed campaign. Everything is shown to you before it goes live. You'll see it in the app, and Marlow may message you with anything it needs.
Every month after
Marlow keeps publishing and improving, watches how your marketing is doing, and sends you a plain-English report: what was done, what it brought in and what's next.
What you stay in control of
- Approvals. Marlow asks before publishing to your website or social pages, and before starting or changing ads.
- Ad spend. You pay Google directly for clicks, on top of your Marlow plan. Marlow sticks to the budget you set and never spends more without your OK.
- Your accounts. You own your Google, Facebook and website accounts. You can disconnect Marlow at any time.
What takes time
Ads can bring enquiries within days of going live. SEO is slower: new articles and page changes usually take weeks to be picked up by Google and months to build real momentum. Marlow reports on progress honestly, including when something isn't working.
